Pelos idos do anos 90, quando todo mundo só falava em grunge, metal ou tecnos em geral (até já perdi a conta que quantos estilos eletrônicos existem), eu conheci o som do Blur, e de primeira já vi que essa seria uma das minhas bandas preferidas de todos os tempos. E olha que o jogo é duro, pois a outra - em primeiro lugar e muito longe de qualquer outra banda - é o The Clash.

Mas o Blur é uma das poucas bandas que tenho todos os cd's (um por sinal, eu comprei lá em Curitiba, em fevereiro de 2003, quando visitava a Ieda e o André), e cada um dos cd's é completamente diferente, mas ao mesmo tempo são iguais, formando um estilo muito peculiar de som para a banda. Algumas pessoas catalogaram de britpop, o que até pode ser, mas não importa não, pois o que vale é que o som dos caras e a genialidade deles naquele período me conquistou direto. Cada música representa um momento da minha vida e posso contar tudo o que aconteceu comigo nesse período apenas escutando as músicas deles. E digo mais, pra mim, "The Universal" é uma das músicas mais lindas que já fizeram.

E agora, pra melhorar, eles vão lançar um documentário sobre a banda, "NO DISTANCE LEFT TO RUN", no começo do ano que vem. E um filme como esse tem tudo para ser perfeito, afinal todas as cenas tem a trilha sonora perfeita.

Ou seja, não sei o que vai ser da minha vida em 2010, mas pelo menos vai começar tri bom!

Gone by the '90s, when everyone spoke only in grunge, metal or technology in general, I knew the sound of Blur, and first I have seen that this was one of my favorite bands of all time. And look what the game is hard, because the other - first and far from any other band - the Clash.

But Blur is one of the few bands that have all the cd's (one by the way, I bought there Curitiba, in February 2003, while visiting Ieda and Andre), and each of the CDs is completely different, but both are equal, forming a very peculiar style of sound for the band. Some of cataloged britpop, which may well be, but it does not matter because what matters is the sound of the guys and their genius at that time got me straight. Each song represents a moment of my life and I can tell you what happened to me this time just listening to their songs. And I think, for me, "The Universal&quot" is one of the most beautiful songs they have done.

And now, to become better, they will release a documentary about the band, "NO DISTANCE LEFT TO RUN", at the beginning of next year. And a film like this has everything to be perfect, after all the scenes have the perfect soundtrack.

In other words, do not know what will become of my life in 2010, but at least it will get good tri! Watch the trailer and shivers because I thrilled.
